Glazed stoneware and porcelain for the table Every figure here comes from our last update

How we update this site

The catalogue was last updated on 4 October 2026. That date belongs on this page and nowhere else on the site: a date printed under every price turns into wallpaper and stops being read.

What gets updated, and when

  • Prices. Refreshed on a schedule across every piece we make, not only the ones on the front page. Where a figure has moved, the card moves with it.
  • Stock. A piece we cannot price comes off the site at the next update. It does not leave our records, so it comes back on its own once it is back in stock.
  • Ratings. Rating and rating count are family figures: colourways of one piece share a pool. We count each pool once rather than adding it up eleven times, so the total on the front page is smaller than a naive sum would be.
  • Sizes and counts. Capacity, diameter and piece count come off the product sheet. Where a sheet does not state a figure, the card shows nothing rather than an estimate.
  • Sources. The public pages behind the food-safety sections are re-read when we touch those sections, and each carries the date it was read.

Why the price on the card can differ from the till

Prices move, and ours follow on a schedule. The figure on the card is what we put in at our last update; the till at the end of the buy button is always the one that counts. There is no way around that for any site that publishes prices, and the honest thing is to say which figure is which.

What a rating pool is

A butter dish made in eleven colours is one product with eleven variations, and every rating left on any of them lands in the same pool. Showing that pool beside each colour is normal and correct. Adding it up eleven times to make a bigger number on the front page is not, and we do not.

Currently unavailable

A piece we cannot price is not on this site. Nothing has been deleted: it is unpriced in the current update, and it returns at the next one once it is back in stock. That is why a shelf count can go up and down a little between visits.

Corrections

A wrong price, capacity or piece count is the error we most want reported. Write to hello@hasense.org and it is fixed at the next update.
